bad day.
had a nasty break on the beam today. was doing jumps when my landing leg slipped off. beam broke my fall (as well as many blood vessels on my outer thigh) before i tumbled off onto the floor. not crash mat, you understand, FLOOR.
then we did front somersaults off the beam. coach told me to add a twist to my front somersault to make it a somersault half-twist. being ambidextrous, i couldnt decide on which side to turn so i proceeded to try out both. right twist saw me twisting too early while still in full tucked position thus resulting in a full-force elbowing of my left knee. now i have a nasty bruise and swell.

what an entirely nasty day.
