watched the taipei city pre-election debate today for like half an hour, listening to lee and ma talk for 2 mins and 50 secs each, alternatingly, with perfectly timed speeches. the more i listened to the debate, the more my loyalties remained with ma. lee was totally messed up - both policy-wise and character-wise.

wise guy decided that he was going to build a concert hall next to the CKS intl. airport, so that 'people living around the area wouldn't be affected by the noise of the concert'. oh most definitely - because people wouldn't even ATTEND the concert. the plan is so un-feasible, its almost hilarious. even the most die-hard fans would find it such a bother to drive for an hour from central taipei city to taoyuan, just for the 2 hours of concert. there is absolutely NOTHING to do in taoyuan except to shop around abit in tai mall or patronize a few betel nut stores. and anyways, people wouldn't get such a good deal for their money, thanks to all the planes taking off and landing at the airport. *vroom*
