ive been wanting to watch the film ever since i saw the trailer 2 months back. :) and now i HAVE! heh. those who have not, you should! i wouldnt say it outshines the book though, but it does a rather decent job of piecing together the storyline. i must say that watching michelle yeoh, zhang ziyi, and gong li all on stage at once is a treat in itself =) after all these years, gong li remains the temptress she is heh.

heh i hope to write more but words arent really coming to my brain and i need to save that limited space in my head for chinese poetry. hehe. its rather ironic but my favorite class in taiwan so far is chinese! its the only class i dont fall asleep in :) will definitely take the translation course to get a certificate. heh might even considering minoring in chinesisch! :O mein Gott!

[edit: hah. steven spielberg had a leg in that movie. i should have guessed.]
