my little snippets of REM.

another epic dream spawning from a mid-morning nap. for those who ponder the need for a mid-MORNING nap, let me just add that i wake up at 4am everyday (or have been, for the past few days).

anyway, this time im supposed to retrieve some kind of transparent box containing transparent, colored bits of genes. apparently, it had been bought from an auction a long time ago by a couple of children.

my friend and i managed to take down the first two lady guards, and i went down the gap in the wall, telling my friend to wait till i was safely down first before coming down herself. the 2nd level saw a bunch of sweaty muscle-man type of guys whom we also took down, but with greater difficulty.

anyway, through some way or other, we managed to see the history of the box -> how it was sent in post by the children (brother and sister, both african-american) to their friend, as a promise. the funny part here, is that i distinctively recall that those two people were at the scene too, albeit as adults. i kept thinking then, that why didnt the person who wanted the box just talk to those two siblings? because apparently they were friends.

at one point, i heard an announcement telling everyone to go to school, told in a singsong way. it even specified that "this two kids dont have to go to school, because they have already mastered the fine art of teeth brushing".

i dreamt of serena! she was really down for some reason, and i sent her a letter offering hugs and kisses. but she thought it was for ryo. LOL :P so i had to clarify.
