ho hum. its a rainy day again... and i feel so sleepy. i absolutely adore it when it rains in the evening.
now all i feel like doing is curling up in bed with a good book, and read, and read, until sleep clouds over and i dream of finally returning Cubbie's shoe at last - a trifle dirty, but the original shoe nevertheless.
i visited the newly-opened supermarket this lovely evening, and woah does it have some neat stuff!
the person in charge of it all had obviously decided to classify the goods into different origin countries.
and so, there i was, looking at 'liberty market' and 'australian section'. why the american section deserved an entire different name of its own is beyond me, but perhaps its less of the special priority handed off to the american section, and more of lack of inspiration in terms of naming the other sections.
besides, that name isn't even unique! its the name of this american supermarket in singapore. perhaps fairprice is in for a huge lawsuit of sorts? we'll see.
another funny thing was, on the big signboard proclaiming 'Australian Section' was a glorious view of the harbor. it looked splendid, mounted on a wooden board. perfect, almost, save for one thing. it wasn't australian.
in the middle of the board as the picture of the auckland city sky tower, and in front of it, was the air new zealand building.
i rest my case.
phew.
i'm finally done. i hope.
any comments? i feel like i want another blog-lift - this isn't quite spacious enough - but i've had enough html for today.

'Every time a bullet hit, she pulled leaves off the tree and thrust them into her wounds, til at last she fell lifeless to the ground.' - Taming the Great South Land, Wiliam J. Lines - on the fate of an Aboriginal woman.
my my, new-fangled technology simply do not last.
the lovely flat keyboard that i acquired one year ago expired today in the most ungraceful manner.
the letter 'T', when depressed, showed 'TV', and 'Y' yielded 'YM'. BACKSPACE became ENTER and CAPSLOCK became X (with and without Caps).
, had to be accompanied by [ and the two-timing [ just had to hook up with \.
it was very disturbing i tell you.
and it didn't help at all that i had to enter a password before i could access windows.
so right now i have reverted back to the age-old common whitish keyboard.
a year ago, i could type better with this keyboard. now i wish i had the other one.
my wrists are already tired.
