okay now, im going to try to find my archives. they are of utmost importance! they are old, very old.. almost a year old! im gng to celebrate my blog's first birthday... soon.. wait.. is it over yet?

oh yeah btw. im getting better at freestyle!! =) heh. i think i swam QUITE fast today. good lord, the darn phy. ed. teacher made us swim 500m. i was THIS close to a wonderful fate of dying of exhaustion. could feel my muscles burning. still, its good, cuz im getting a good workout =)

anyho, was supposed to swim the entire 500m in freestyle, but i kinda got tired after the first 100m and decided to cover the rest using various different strokes. i did frog-style, backstroke (not good, cuz water kept on getting into my nose) and my very own squid-stroke (octopus-stroke, if you will). i also walked and pretended that i was doing freestyle but uhh.. lets not go into that. ;)

i still cant swim butterfly-stroke. dang. i do mine like a dying moth. =(

ARGH. just got reminded that finals are 6 weeks away... SIX WEEKS!!!! that's just slightly more than a month!!!!!!! IM SOOO GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gotta start studying =(

really wanna go back to taiwan for christmas again -> maybe i'll do a taiwan/USA thing. heh. its about time i visited me 3rd aunt in texas. =D and of course, teanuh.

so yeah, with all these incentives... man im so going to mug!

ooh updating in fits and flurries now! hmm been quite quite consistent for the past few umm... days =)

i bought the SIA stewardess uniform for tomorrow's racial harmony day and JY did a great job bargaining hehe. we managed to cut $9 off the calling price. =) think we could have managed to get it at $15 bucks at the other shop tho, but oh well, we did pretty well for amateur bargain-ists. hehe.

need a little alternation and im off! i think the real uniforms would definitely look much better cuz they are tailored to fit. kinda makes me feel like getting a temporary job as an air stewardess in the future, though i think i would qualify only for the China Airlines / Eva Airways ones. and they have crappy uniform!!!! @@

mmm i think that the SIA has the best uniform to date!! oh yeah...

rehearsal for saturday's college day was hilarious. first up, i reached there at 5 pm, with only an hour of rehearsal time left, thanks to the chemistry lab session i had before that. (more on lab later) the principal wanted EXACTLY 10 seconds worth of fanfare music to be played on college day.

which, is really kind of silly cuz you are getting about 30 people just to sit there and play for 10 seconds. funnier still, the conductor is supposed to predict when the minister would draw the curtains and give the orchestra the signal. and to do that, she'd have to twist her head around. hehehe. and THEN she'd have to start the orchestra and do a half-turn so she can face us. =) i wonder how full dress rehearsal would be like this wednesday?

im getting off early from class again cuz of orchestra! this is like the umpteenth time. not that i dont enjoy it but... hmm i seem to be missing QUITE alot of lessons and project work. nicht gut.

oh yeah about chemistry lab. my nose was kinda stuffed up this afternoon when i had my lab session, so i couldnt for the life of me determine the smell of the gas emitted from the mixtures. i was trying to breathe in really hard when my nose suddenly cleared. unfortunately it happened to be ammonia that was emitted. good lord. i sneezed for like 10 consecutive times before i got over it. eew eww.

and i hear that they put ammonia in cigarettes too? ugh.

mom's going to kill me if i dont get to the dining table in 5 seconds. so i gotta dash.

ahhh i am soooo hooked on typer shark!!!! its the coolest game! hehe like mavis beacon, but tons better! =) ive only got the trial version tho, since the registration for a full copy costs US19.95. ugh. it costs 8.95 if you buy more than 51 copies... but i guess i wouldnt be needing that many copies, as lovely as it is ;)

anyho, to check the game out (and you really should!) type "Typer Shark Deluxe" in Google or Yahoo and click on one of the links to download it. takes some time tho, cuz its about 4 mbs.

its already 10:40 pm and ive yet to pack my bag for tomorrow. hope i remember to bring the testtubes.. gosh i just remembered... its about time i started studying for the finals. i know it seems so early but its really just 2 months away, which translates to roughly 8 weeks. im running out of time already...

orchestra practice has not loosened up even tho competition's over, cuz the school wants us to perform during college day.. some fanfare of sorts. and we have exactly two practices to 1) receive the score 2) memorize it. ho hum. college day is next saturday by the way.

lets see, what else is there? right... i FINALLY read all of the Order of the Phoenix (potter book) good lord, the first half of the book was so boring i kept on falling asleep after 5 or so pages (which explains the slow progress). compare that with the OTHER half, about 400 pages being red in 5 hours flat this afternoon. =) that umbridge woman is soooo annoying! i would dearly have loved for her to be mauled by the centaurs. uh hum. snape is still one cool character -> tho i dont quite fancy his "graying underpants". sigh. the curse of imperfections.

we're having swimming yet again for phy. ed. tomorrow. whoopeedoo. hope more girls swim this time round =D it really isnt that bad.. honest. the phy ed. teacher is hecka irritating tho. he gets on my nerves. we think he's kinda... perverted. but anyways. that crazy dude is so hooked on freestyle and backstrokes... and i cannot believe he calls freestyle frontcrawl. UGHHHH. god bless him.

ooh yeah and my roly poly green phone is no longer green. its purple now (transluscent) glows in the dark too, tho i wouldnt care if it didnt. got it at the night market for 7 bucks. think those in taiwan look better tho. hmm... i wonder why i didnt go cell phone cover shopping in taiwan last dec? or... did i? okay robbie dear you gotta answer that for me cuz i cant remember! i remember shopping for rach's red phonecover tho!

i plan to find my archives... but i'll do that later on tomorrow when i have the time. im so so tired right now, having just returned from a formal dinner. i wore this long black flow-y skirt and a black halter top. heh heh. and i gotta say... i think i looked kinda good =) ive really got gymnast arms tho hmm. but oh well at least they arent flabby.. hehe. dinner today wasnt too enjoyable tho, cuz they had sashimi (which i dont eat) and alot of odd meats. it didnt help too that the two girls sitting across me were on a vigorous diet. 'bounce' was a hecka good game, tho. pity i didnt manage to make it across level 4.

wow. i really need rest! im on the verge of burning out, thanks to this week's orchestra rehearsals and the youth day concert. more about that next time.. gotta go coo now!

i once again know why i have stayed in chinese orchestra all these years. tonight was the finals for the chinese orchestra competition and it was tonight that the orchestra played the best it has ever played. to have 80-something people playing the same song, contributing to make a piece of music come to live... is just so incredible. words cannot describe the way i felt during our turn on the stage. my heart swelled along with music and im sure so did everyone else's. the orchestra seemed like an extension of the conductor, and through him, the pieces. it was perfect. the conductor actualy broke into a huge grin during the song...

now, i cant say anything to let those who werent there onstage experience what i felt... because it was indescribable. i honestly was close to tears - so much did the music move me. its got to be the best feeling on earth... to be part of this sensational orchestra and giving all that we've got to the public/judges.

we got the best chinese orchestra award, but that isnt important.

tonight, the apsaras flew, out of wall-paintings in the cave and up into the sky. fairies joined in the fest and danced a graceful silk-dance. before, finally departing into the wispy mists of the morning's fog.

tonight too, was the beauty of winter marvelled at. the fragile beauty of the snowflakes, gently falling onto the white ground, each and every piece reflecting the sun's rays, in all the colors of the rainbow. the winter wind blew, cold and harsh before finally succumbing to the sun's majestic rise from the horizon.........

tonight, we were the brightest star.

i read in the recent issue of CLEO about Axl Kene and Girlfriend. Why Girlfriend? Because the lady wishes to keep her identity a secret. The photo she shared with Axl was also digitally edited, her face blanked out with colored squares.

the interview was about how lesbians nowadays are coming out more. yeah. Axl's a girl. But that's not the point. The point is that she's about to undergo a sex change. Not that it matters, if it was solely her decision. But it isnt.

She's doing it for her Girlfriend. Axl is lesbian, and she has no qualms about telling people the truth.

Why do you want to go for a sex change? Asks the reporter.
Actually, its to make my girlfriend happier. I dont mind being anything. Was Axl's reply.

Now, that's gotta be one of the greatest sacrifices for love.

Lets go back to Axl's Girlfriend. She claims that she has had a boyfriend before she met Axl, therefore 'fully experienced what it is like to be straight.' Okay, nothing wrong with that.

The reporter probed further with, Do you worry about encountering problems related to being a lesbian couple in the future?

The Girlfriend replied with a, 'No because Axl is going to go for a sex change later.'

Is it just me, or do you see a problem here?

Its not that i do not believe in the power of love and sacrifice and what have you, but it seems to me that Axl is making a 180 degree change to her life for this girl.. a girl who has refused to provide her name and photo for the interview. Why isnt she doing that? Isnt she proud of her girlfriend (soon to be boyfriend)?

Lets just say that if I were Axl, I would dump the girl. Ugh. What a selfish, totally gutless asshole. Excuse my french.

Maybe i think too much, and perhaps they really do love each other but hey... dude, if you are asking me, Axl's making one hella of wrong decision here. Well.. Good luck to her (he by now?), I say.

oh man! andreea raducan of romania has retired!!!!!! and svetlana khorkina is still going strong! now the romanian team has only juniors to bring it through the athens 2004 olympics! wow.. im gonna miss watching andreea compete tho. =(

full trottle was great! kinda like guns and roses, if you will. mix hi-tech weaponry, bad villians (all are attractive in their own ways, surprisingly!!) and three abbbbsolllluuuutely beautiful girls with barely-there clothes and what do you get? a spectacular movie! hubba hubba hubba. hehe. great god i sound so gay!

other than the fact that the angels were slightly too sugary for my liking, i totally enjoyed the show. oh, and the movie theater was infested with people from my college, thanks to friday being the last day of exams for most of us. it was kinda like a school-outing. scary!

i should think that demi moore was the star of the show! she's so old (reaching 50!) and still she looks so so great, apart from having abs that were a tad bit dry. and for the first time i've realized how beautiful she is! she's got mesmerizing eyes, that are of this light brown. mmm. nice! what can i say? bruce willis is such a dork for divorcing her!

ive planned some interesting stuff to do to make up for missing out on summer break. serena, jieying and i are going to a court hearing!! we're gonna go to the court, bright and early, check out the listings of the day, choose an exciting hearing, have breakfast, and loll around until its time to go in. heh. too many people watch movies, anyways =) its time for some real action!

ooh and i wanna go on that huge aeroship thing that flies around the island. heard from dad that its about 200 bucks tho. ugh.

ok, other than that, its time to tone up! mich planned an all-girls beach party (well, frolick hahah) two weeks from now. have to shop, too =D brilliant stuff. things are turning out great!

its official. I FOUND NEMO this morning!!! isnt that just superbly sensational. especially since i have biology midterms tomorrow. oh well. best part was, i didnt have to pay to watch it. but had to pay for not paying (gee) since 15 minutes of disc one was absolutely messed up. i wonder why tho. clarity wasnt too good, guess it would be a better experience watching it on da big screen. still, great storyline and lovely characters. i love the LOOK of dory, tho i dont have hots for her voice. the puffer fish dude was coo too, and so are the three self-help sharks.

just wondering, but why are lobsters always french? incidentally, why are they always named Gaston? and come to think of it, why are they always chefs???? and i'm not even going to touch on the music that comes on whenever the lobster makes his appearance. talk about stereotypes!

the gulls made the film an entirely enjoyable experience, and the crabs too. i must say, the crustaceans are pretty hilarious.

alright, next up on the movie list - Full Throttle! Chick flick and all, im gonna watch it... Lucy Liu i'm coming! heh.

sometime last week i had this dream. it was pretty funky and i am now pretty sure that i dream in technicolor. yeah! technicolor baby, not old fashioned black and white (which are the colors of my parents dreams. opps)

anyhoo, SEVENTEEN suggested that people keep a dream journal, to record down their dreams. i think that's a pretty good idea and will probably start it pretty soon! =) i love my dreams. heheh.

ok, time for dream-revealing!

lets see now. i dreamt that i was in line for something in the mall, and when i reached the counter, was pleasantly surprised to find that i had 2 passes to christina aguilera's concert. (like, hmm? hehe) decided to ask serena to come along with me.

not to sure wut happened in between tho, but it had something to do with my bro running off with one of the tickets or something and myself being pretty pissed.

anyways, had to stand in line for the concert and the waiting area was this huge plaza. the best part was, the floor was made up of ice, and it glittered like the rainbow cuz of the sunlight. very pretty. in front of the plaza was this huge fountain like stuff. just like one of those in venice, with the water pouring down from the sides. hoo boy.

after a while, the ice started to melt away and there was a mad scamper to the side of the building (very venetian too) i got there without much work and set about looking for serena (she said she would be late). i found her and we both went to our seats at da back of the auditorium.

turned out that we were sitting next to F4 and when they turned around, we decided that they were actually kinda ugly. heh.

that's about it. really loved the venice section tho, my goodness it looked so beautiful! so surreal!! i wanna go there!!

im so screwed. its math exam tomorrow and today i discover my trigonometry notes are missing. searched all over the house for it, but it didnt turn up. i strongly suspect that i lent it to somebody, which, if thats the case, i seriously feel like giving that person some ownage. im going to flunk, and that's a fact. i dont even wanna study the other sections anymore.. i dont care. dont wanna. hell, i'll just study for biology and then catch up with math after midterms are over.

tomorrow will see me sitting for an exam... literally.
