a fine evening with DOOM

and so here i am spending another weekend in school. sick no less =( the one thing that ive been doing most often since entering this hellpit of a place is playing WoW. my priest is 44 now -> hopefully she'll reach 60 before xmas =S

concert tonight

today my cousin brought me to miaoli, this suburb county south of hsingchu for a concert. it was one of those ffa, mini mid autumn festival concerts. held in a run down state-owned sports stadium. reached there half an hour late and was surprised to find out that the stadium greens were less than a quarter full. ended up standing REALLY close to the stage... and we managed to get one of those plastic banger thingums too. heh. saw SHE, fish leong (bwahahah what a name), zhang dong liang, JS, etc etc. not really good with names. comperes for the night were hei ren and qian wei shan.

i liked the atmosphere a whole lot, cuz it wasnt like, a really crowded and rowdy concert but instead kinda homely, where pple werent attempting to be sardines. =) even managed to picnic abit lol, thoroughly enjoyable. the downturn was that my ears were ringing after the concert, so loud were the speakers.

noticed that the singers were REALLY thin. i mean, they look good on tv but are painfully thin in real life. especially qian wei shan. she looked positively anorexic, argh, not charming. i feared for limb breakage throughout the concert. had a better opinion of SHE after the concert. dunno why but they didnt look so fake in real life. and they were a healthy size too hehe.

yupyup concert ended with fireworks, and i headed back to my cousin's place with his girlfriend, at the same time thinking of my boyfriend heheh. -pokes- hey marc!!! guess what? I?????YOU!!

hi all,

the much beloved vicky is back into action again! hehe finally hooked up to internet. the first 2 grueling weeks of military camp is over and lessons will start next week. thank god. the really horrible military training at the kaohsiung army camp will start next year during summer holidays. =S im not looking forward to it... well actually i am in a strange, morbid fashion. must be the masochist in me. but i prolly wont be attending that cuz i'll most prolly will be back in singapore. would like to attend it for abit though, to see what its like hehe. fire rounds and get bruised shoulders and all.

i totally hate how army life is so fucking fake. everything is superficial and the commanders all act like they have huge carrots up their ample asses. they all pretend to be nice to you while they are secretly checking up on you and marking you down. its weird. half the commanders look like taiwan gangster (ie. betel nut, nicotine and alcohol galore) and the other half look pudgy and pasty.
